Zebra Installation Instructions

This binary distribution of the Zebra Design Browser from Zocalo Tech, Inc., is packaged as a gzipped tar file. The unzipped package requires about 17 MB of disk space on Linux, 24 MB on Solaris.

1. In a Unix shell, cd into a directory where you have write permissions and enough space to unpack zebra.
2. At the prompt, give the command:
   gunzip -c [name of zebra tar file] | tar x
3. Set the ZEBRA_HOME environment variable to point to the untarred zebra directory.
4. Please read the Zebra Freeware License in $ZEBRA_HOME/doc/LICENSE, and browse the HTML documentation in $ZEBRA_HOME/doc/html/index.html.
